New hobby?!?!? WUT!?

Hey guys I'm back (nobody really reads this anyways...)

So papercrafting hasn't really been going too well (except for a super tall Cloud that some of you may want to see). I've found a new (or renewed actually) hobby! That's right folks! It's Gunpla! Gundam plastic model kits! Fun to build and play with!

I've recently finished my first Master Grade, a 1/100 scale 00 Raiser!

As you can see, I stuffed as much stuff on it as I possibly could. I even did a little custom thing with the GN Sword IIs having them bent forward instead of in "Darth Maul" mode (I believe Gundam.tk or rrobert184 on Youtube.com coined this phrase).

This is an out-of-the-box build and is unpainted. Right now, I'm experimenting with enamel paints on my old HG 1/144 scale Wing Gundam Zero Custom.

From now on, expect much more Gunpla than papercrafting (sorry papercraft fans).

Oh, where have I been...

When was the last time I even thought about papercrafting?
My friend's birthday passed, and I never finished his "treasure".
What's worse is the file I was using as reference is lost on a computer that no longer starts up. I guess I'm going to have to find a way to get it back. All the models I ripped are also stored on that computer. Yay...

Making progress very slowly...

It's been a while since I've posted anything. So, here are some updates on what I've been doing:
> School is a pain in the @$$ and I need to get my grades back up.
> I figured out how to export the models and add the textures.
> I still need to find a way to pose the model the way I want it to.
> I'm having doubts about finishing my Cloud statue as it is made of plain copy paper and isn't progressing along much.
> I've been distracted by many video games, such as Devil May Cry or Megaman. Fortunately, during the process of playing all of these games I've been motivated for future projects.

My friend, or my only follower as of now, is having his birthday on April 28. I started making his present and need to finish by then. I made him a red treasure chest from Dissidia. Inside, I'm going to put a potion from Crisis Core, or possibly multiple potions of varying colors. I'll throw in a handfull of velcro pieces because he loves playing with them. Finally, I'll hide something "Dorky" in there. He still hasn't figured out what it could be. ;]

Still having a few issues...

Currently, our school is in what we would call a "laptop crisis."
For this reason, I cannot run 3DS Max on my laptop and it does not work on my desktop for some reason. However, I did manage to convert the files, but I have not yet tested them out in 3DS Max. I tested them by opening the OBJ files in Pepakura, and it came out pretty nicely, except that there was no texture.

Nevertheless, I have finally created the Animated GIF that I promised you all! It's Tron-Sora using Tron's Discs!!!

Attempts to Convert KH2 Models

I've finally been able to rip the Kingdom Hearts II models from the disks and apply the keyblades and weapons. However, in order to papercraft them, I must first be able to convert them into 3ds files for use in 3DS Max. This part is a real hassle.

Anyways, I was playing around with the model viewer and had an idea:
Final Form Tron Sora using Tron's Disks.

It turned out pretty cool, and I'll upload an animated GIF for you guys soon, so keep posted.

Dissidia Cloud Strife 1 meter Tall Statue - DONE

I printed this one in regular printer paper and realized how flimsy it would be. Also, school has gotten in the way of things.
